From Physical To Digital - The Power Of Photogrammetry In Online Retail

The FIA team worked with Mulberry to explore the creation of 3D interactive assets for use on their website and the resulting increase in engagement from online consumers with those products.

By using a rig of multiple digital cameras, an object, such as the Mulberry Amberley bag, can be photographed from several different angles and these images can be stitched together to produce a photorealistic "digital twin" of that item.

These digital assets can be interacted with easily and intuitively by an online audience, immediately increasing the levels of online engagement with these products, when compared to traditional 2D images, and can potentially lead to an increase in online sales.
