FIA delivers augmented reality showcase at London Fashion Week

Martine Jarlgaard London, DoubleMe

FIA delivers augmented reality showcase at London Fashion Week with Martine Jarlgaard London and DoubleMe.

The amazing mixed reality fashion show presenting Martine’s SS17 collection hosted at the W hotel in London was yet another exciting project the FIA delivered this season.

The project used technology to create holographic 3D characters created by DoubleMe to showcase Martine’s collection in augmented reality. The audience were invited to experience something they had never seen before as part of the digital schedule for London Fashion Week. Wearing the HoloLens, people were able to see the collection whilst moving around the models naturally. The technology displayed the collection superimposed into the presentation space, appearing solid and lifelike allowing them to explore the collection from all angles, composing their own experience unrestrained by the usual catwalk show etiquette.

By bringing Martine Jarlgaard London and DoubleMe together, we have been able to showcase once again how technology can provide the fashion world with a new platform.
